Special testing capabilities include certified Level II leak testing (bubble and helium), weld inspection (visual and dye penetrant), metrology (manual and automated), gaseous diffusion testing, and filter efficiency testing.  In addition to the in-house services and testing capabilities, NFT offers full-service transuranic (TRU) waste characterization services – including headspace gas sampling and analysis, visual examination (VE), and repackaging of TRU waste drums.
